Delete Your Account or Data

Last updated: August 7, 2026

This page explains how to request that GrassRoster ("GrassRoster") delete your account or specific personal data associated with your GrassRoster account.

1. Delete specific data (keep your account)

You can request deletion of some or all personal data without closing your account.

  1. Email [email protected] from the address on your GrassRoster account.
  2. Use a subject line such as "Data deletion request".
  3. Describe what you want deleted (for example: profile photo, phone number, address, chat media you uploaded, or a linked player profile).

You can also update or clear many profile fields yourself in account settings in the GrassRoster web or mobile app.

2. Delete your entire account

Signed-in parents and members can delete their GrassRoster account directly in the app:

  • Mobile app: Settings → Security → Delete account
  • Web app: Profile → Security → Delete account

You will be asked to confirm with your password. Saved payment methods are removed so automatic charges stop. Some club or payment records may be retained as described in section 3 below.

If you cannot access your account, email [email protected] from the address on your GrassRoster account with the subject line "Account deletion request" and the email address of the account you want deleted.

3. What is deleted vs kept

After we verify a request:

  • Deleted or deactivated from active systems (typically within 30 days): personal profile data such as display name, contact details, profile photo, and account credentials for full account deletion; or the specific data categories you asked us to remove for a partial request.
  • May be retained for operational continuity: club and team records you contributed (anonymized where possible), such as roster history or event participation needed for the club to operate.
  • May be retained as required by law or for accounting, tax, or dispute resolution: payment and enrollment records.
  • Limited retention in backups: copies may remain in backups for a limited time per our backup retention policy, then age out.

More detail is in our Privacy Policy.

4. Parents and linked players

Parents and guardians may request deletion of a linked minor's player profile or account data by emailing [email protected] from the parent account email and identifying the player. That request does not require deleting the parent account.
